Alexa M Mason is responsible for the Vallee Foundation’s day-to-day direction and management.  Her three decades of experience working for Harvard University in Boston and in Italy have given her leadership expertise in infrastructure development, academic administration, the establishment of international collaborations, and resource development.  She has a long history of working with accomplished scientists and scholars from around the world.   Prior to joining the Vallee Foundation, Alexa worked as Director of Italian Affairs at the Giovanni Armenise-Harvard Foundation, which supports biomedical research, and as Assistant Director for External Relations at Villa I Tatti, the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies.
