Peter Howley, Shattuck Professor of Pathological Anatomy and Professor of Microbiology and Immunobiology at HMS, is the Vallee Foundation’s third President.  His research has focused on the molecular biology of the papillomaviruses, and in particular on defining the mechanisms by which HPV drives carcinogenesis.
